Renderings (not photographs) of a proposed postmodern shipping container home slated to be built in Joshua Tree this coming summer.
The use of shipping containers as essentially giant skylights is clever, and I do like that outdoor patio and swimming pool - but I don't think this would be my first choice for a dream home. Looks like they're wasting a lot of space to make a postmodern hipster point about architecture.
Also looks like a very fun opportunity for that one time I ordered a 4-foot diameter giant inflatable bouncing ball off the internet.
