    As said, too slow & looks like post size is limited.

    But much faster than a hatchet, & utilizes what probably started as a wood splitter. Looks slow, but his cycle time is about 35 seconds. Easily can do 100 posts an hour. Probably could do that big pile of posts stacked behind him between breakfast & lunch.
    Very cool idea to slice instead of grinding or sawing the points on the posts. Ends up with posts that can be driven into the ground, & kindling for his heat.

    The limiting factor is cutting time; no question. But real drawback is idle time waiting for the cut, and only half required. I'd add a second station, side by side. It retracting while the other pares off, while Another would arrange cam operated clamping.
    But saves tremendous space compared to Frank S's pencil sharpener......
