Reminds me of the aftermath of a spike belt I witnessed on a highway years back. No tires is not even beginning to explain what happened to the rubber.

This is stopping power on a whole new level indeed!

It was the dangedest thing. I happened to notice the same car speeding up and down the neighborhood. I walked across the street to retrieve my garden rake from a neighbor. Unfortunately it happened to fall from my hand onto the street as I was returning home. And wouldn't you know it; that same speeding car ran right over my garden rake and snapped the handle. Boy oh boy did that rake head make a mess of the wheel well on that car. Shucks.

When I was at Google headquarters a few years ago they have a landscaped dirt hill around the parking lot...just big and steep enough that you couldn't drive over it. The driveway looks open and flat but on closer examination there's a row of large diameter steel posts mounted on hydraulics spanning the entrance. When they say stop, you will stop.

Needed a pass for everything, even to get into a lobby. Need the bathroom, get an escort.
