pontoon boat....custom minn kota mount (space saver)

made this minn kota motor mount for the pontoon boat to maintain a clear walkway across the front of the boat, instead of mounting the motor there.


-it is made of aluminum diamond plate I had laying around the shop
-it incorporates the minn kota quick release (lockable) motor mount
-it is version #1 and will probably be replaced this year (want to modify to allow motor to be laid down when not in use)

in the background you can also see the modified seat base used for downriggers, when we go trolling.
