    Plans

How do you download plans? When I request a plan, nothing seems to happen. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Your're not doing it wrong, the plan thing is still a work in progress. If you'll look at the sticky on the home built tools forum it outlines what's going on.

Almost ready to launch. Just waiting on some pricing recommendations from the final plans author.

    Hi jon,

Does it means you are intending to sell plans ? If answer is yes, anytime, or when authors requests it ?

    Regards.

Yes, we're intending to sell them. Probably all set by tomorrow, no kidding! Watch for a new "Tool Plans for Sale" subforum opening up.

Yes, if a plans author requests to sell his plans, we'll sell them. He can submit them, we'll review and edit them, and put them up for sale, and he gets 70% of the sales. We have a bunch of FAQs and guides written up for both plans sellers and buyers.

Here's the deal with the "Want a plan?" button accompanying each listing. One of the potential authors' concerns is that there is not enough desire for their plans. Thus, they would spend time drafting the plans, but nobody would really buy them. So we added the "Want a plan?" button to log these requests, so that we can demonstrably say: "Here's proof that people want your plans."
