I'm in the midst of fixing my non-working Enerpac 10t press. I rebuilt the hydraulic cylinder a few years back, but put off doing the hand pump. Well, now it doesn't work, so I'm busy tearing it apart. I hit a snag removing the piston seals as there's a 2nd seal retainer deep in the bore that needs a pin wrench to get it out. I don't have one, but I do have a lathe, so..
found a random chunk of steel with a cross hole, so turned it down to size, then drilled/tapped 2 holes in the end using my live drill chuck and the indexing bull gear on my lathe
loctited 2 screws (8-32?) in, then cut off the heads, plus a bit of grinding to fit. Cross bar is another piece of random scrap (from a laser printer I think)
worked a dream! Wish I could say the same of the check valve screw, still fighting with that one..
