    That was just the passenger. The driver couldn't hop out because all the empties would roll onto the ground.

    But seriously though, I don't even know what broke here. No axle stub came out with the wheel. It looks like the brake drum is still on the truck. Did the lugs let go?

    That reminds me of a story. A buddy of mine completely mangled the studs holding on the sprocket of his old Honda CB360. So he tried to attach the sprocket using zip ties and nylon rope. He got about 30 feet, which is farther than I thought he would get.

    There was not that much load on it to break anything. Doing a burn out on a slippery wet road is not difficult at all. Not even any smoke from the tires. I am guessing loose lug nuts.

    If he has stock axles in it, the flange probably snapped off the axle at or near the weld. Had it happen to a few of our race cars. Now we upgrade to heavy duty units before the car leaves the shop.
