Everything in my shop is on casters, The hydraulic press, most of my work benches, storage cabinets, even the Pexto shear. Having stuff on casters makes life easier as far as work space, cleaning and simply keeping unused equipment out of the way until needed.
I built these feet for the shear back in '06, right after I got it.
C channel and some 3/8" plate with some swap meet 5" casters. It rolls around like a champ and is still stable enough to cut .090 aluminum.
The feet bolt to the shear with the mounting holes in the bottom of the legs. One bolt and the height of the foot locks it to the shear.
I had the shear tucked into the corner for storage. Pulled it out to cut this piece of 2 x 4 .090 aluminum for a project I am working on. When I was done it went back into the corner, easy peazy.
