It looks great, but these connections freak me out. How much creep does PEX experience over time? How much will these joints relax, particularly after 20-25 years on a hot water system? I like using the crimp rings. Maybe I'm a caveman.

I'm guessing those rings are a strong elastic and will act as a crimp ring. So, after flaring you probably only have a minute or two to assemble things before it closes back up.
