    I wish they would do it like that around here. They just shovel in a pile and let the car tires pack it down. It gets spread all over the road and sticks to your car's finish. Then the first time we get a hard rain, it all washes out of the hole. They must be insane because they do it the same way every time.

    Unless it is properly compressed into the hole with a roller or vibrating compactor, it's like urinating into the wind...
