    I think there's a force perspective issue here. Look at the spacing on the windows on the close plane, and the spacing on the far plane. The far plane is much farther away. Looks wild though.

    Can't be sure but that is a very familiar pattern that I have seen at SFO many times. IIRC, all parallel runways are spaced about a 1/4 mile or more apart. The extremely long telephoto shrinks the perspective making them look much closer than reality. After an crash a few years ago, new flight rules require all Asian airlines to hand-fly a visual approach and landing. Prior to that an instrument landing was available to all.

    I can think of a couple of Middle Eastern pilots I wouldn't want to have landing at any airport with more than a single runway, instrument manual or tethered the 2 pilots I know, used to fly for Emirates
