PancakeBot has achieved almost 10x its Kickstarter funding goal. I'm not even sure how to process this. Embarrassing? Interesting? Is there even a legitimate use for this, perhaps for restaurants, or children's food? Or as a harbinger of an era when non-pancake foods can be 3D printed to reduce food costs for societies struggling with starvation? Will we one day cure cancer, with scientists saying: "We got the idea from PancakeBot"?
