Painter's tape is rather handy stuff. It holds things around my shop yet readily comes off without leaving a sticky residue behind. However, when I forget to double the end over, it can be annoying trying to find where to pull. Furthermore, I seem to always leave a narrow strip of tape on the roll and rarely tear straight across.
Using a piece of worn-out hacksaw blade, I have made a rather nice tape dispenser. The good news here is that my tape problem has been solved. The bad news, according to my wife, is that I have justified not throwing anything away.
