    Outrigger Leg for English Wheel

Hi Everybody! I just acquired a Harbor Freight English Wheel. The instructions recommended bolting the unit to the floor, but because of my limited shop space, I want to be able to move it out of the way when not in use.
The stand is very top heavy and only takes a couple pounds of force to tip it over. I came up with this bolt on outrigger, to keep it stable.
    Thanks for looking!

More proof...in many cases, neither importers, designers, manufacturers or sellers have first hand knowledge of what they offer. Hence our favorite derisive label "________ shaped object". Few proper English Wheels require bolting. This one, wants to tip just laying a hand on it; what about a fender size sheet of cold rolled?
Since none of us have unlimited square footage, the outrigger is perfect solution; stablized yet still portable.
    Sincerely,

Thanks, Toolmaker! That’s just what I thought. There’s no way, they could have assembled and used this product without realizing the potential hazard.
Even though their instructions recommend bolting it to the floor, I doubt that many people do that.
