Oscillating Drum (spindle) Sander for my old drill press

Here's an add on mechanism I made for my drill press. It could be adapted to other drill presses as well. The Poly Round belt is a hit and works well in a V-belt pulley is the load is not high.

    Beautiful!
Now I'm thinking of building one using and old drill press and a corded variable speed hand drill (the kind with the locking trigger and adjustment nut).
I tend to hack stuff together to see if it'll work and then leave it that way for decades.
    : - )

Thanks you sir. Yes the hand drill could simply construction and they are cheap. I have used them 3 times for other applications. I have harbor freight drills on a drill press table, the head of my round column mill and a lathe I made (for a lead screw feed).
