The fastest way to cut square tubing is to rotate it in the bandsaw vise so the corners contact the jaws and the vise ways. To stabilize the stock, I was using V blocks. But these blocks take up a lot of the vise's capacity plus do not provide a lot of axial support. So now I use "OO" blocks. Same function but much longer. They are also easy to make if you have some round stock and J-B Weld. Even easier if you have access to a welder.
