Old Retired Metal Shop Teacher

I am a 72 year old retired Metal Shop teacher from San Diego California. My home shop has old school machine tools and no CNC equipment although I did teach CNC at my high school in Encinitas, CA. My interests range from model engines to all forms of shop metalworking projects. I am presently making a pattern for a Falk #1 locomotive wheel and thinking about setting up a home foundry. I found this site while searching for a home made foundry sand muller plan. I spend 30--60 hours per week in my home shop and love all sorts of metalworking from machinist, sheet metal, welder/fabrications, and foundry.
