    offset nail punch

I have a row of nails in a fairly inaccessible position on my verandahs.

They get hit by the sun a lot and eventually rise up out of the deck and I have to bang them down again once every 3 or so years.

Got tired of holding nail punch at an angle and skidding off.

So I made this - It is a concrete nail sandwiched between two bits of black bar.

    Works spectacularly well.

Clever. Your deck boards look great, but I was still reminded of MetalDesigner's Deck Board Straightener.

    Smile steamingbill punch

Definately save costs and associated dramas with replacing with s/s screws: steamingbill's joist looks pretty close to fascia/coverstrip.. Thanks for sharing.
