I turned out some years ago to a similar accident, but the truck wasn't carrying offal, instead it was glass bottles from the pub. I estimate about 6-8 ton of bottles in the truck. In that case the bottles went up over the cab of the truck, and through the back window of the sedan which pulled out in front of the truck and "brake checked" the truck - I estimate at least 1T of glass went through the back window of the sedan, and moved like a river from the back seat to the front, and out the windscreen and side windows... the driver of the sedan was pretty messed up.
