    newbie from Georgia

Just a semi-retired guy from Georgia. Enjoy firearm and air rifle shooting, small game hunting, knife trading, a bit of gun refinishing, working on my old Chevelle SS. Was in telecommunications till first retirement. Still keep my amateur radios on the air. Always looking for new things to learn. Greg

    Hi Greg,

    Welcome!

That's a great set of hobbies and shared by many here; you'll fit right in!

What are you working on at the moment? Let's see some pics of the Chevelle…

The Chevelle looks good. Did you do the engine installation yourself? Nice and neat from what I can see.

I must admit; my best friend runs an auto repair shop. He sent out the big block and had it built to 555 cubes. Then with ceramic headers he had to squeeze it in. I've owned the car since 74 so it's always been garaged and didn't need any body work. It did get fresh paint and interior which I did some of the interior. The entire drive train was beefed up to manage the horsepower and also disc brakes all around to slow that puppy back down. Has a 200 shot of nitrous added that is really not needed for the street.
