Hi Guys,

Came across this site by accident and delighted I did. Loads of useful information here. I was looking for ideas on diy welding table clamps and already I have the makings of three clamps to use with my folding table.

I drilled holes and tapped them 3/8-16 in my welding table top. I use step blocks and clamp bars from my mill clamping kit to secure items to the table. The clamping kit is kind of like an erector set for the mill. If needed, I just drill and tap another hole where needed.

I do the same thing as johnz, plus having several different sized C-clamps and open framed clamps on hand is invaluable.
