Hi everyone. I found this site on Pinterest. I have been a maintenance repairman in industry for the last 45 years. I do welding, electrical, machining, and general mechanical repairs. I live on a small farm in SE Iowa and I have a welding and machine shop. I enjoy new fabrication and bringing old/damaged stuff back to life. My current project is a 1959 Airstream Safari camper. Floor was rotted out and frame was badly rusted. I love making the tools or machines that I need to help me get the job done. Always looking for new ideas on how to do things. You can teach an ole dog new tricks. My last few projects were a front end loader for a 550 Oliver utility tractor, a 50 ton hydraulic press, and a 3 phase converter to run my 3 phase mill. I will post a few pics of my latest projects when I get permission to do so. Always willing to help someone out with questions and looking forward to you helping me with mine.

Sounds like you'll fit in well here

How is the Airstream restoration going? Post some pics if you have them, we'd love to take a look.
