    Hi Jim,

    Welcome!

You built your own CNC mill and lathe?!? Very cool - to say nothing of the steam engines! We're going to need pics…

What are you working on at the moment?

Thanks For the welcome. I will Have to get some pic's of my shop and projects. My shop is 10 ft.x13 ft. and packed, just enough room to work in. The Mill/lathe started out as a Smithy 1220XL. I have added linear bearings and ball screws on the x-y axis and I am using Mach3 software to control it. I think I control it but sometimes I'm not so sure. I have three current projects running. First is a 1/14 scale R/C excavator, Two a copy of one of Muncastor Steam engines, and three, a Paddlewheeler engine I seen on Home model engine builder Forum. Here is a link to his build
Steam engine for a sternwheeler - Home Model Engine Machinist
It is a DROP DEAD BEAUTIFUL PaddelWheeler and it run GREAT.

and I hope there is a photo of the Excavtor. Idon't think the photo showed up, will have to go read how to do that.
