    New old guy from Idaho

I picked up this link on another site and it looked interesting so thought I would join in on the fun
I be a 72 year old retired wore out machinist that got bored with retirement and live in the tater fields of SE Idaho.

    Hi Bill,

    Welcome! Glad you found us.

We've got lots (hundreds) of neat machining projects and tools on the site. If you haven't already done so, check them out here: Machining Entries

It's a rare tool that's so worn out that it can't be put back in action with a little refitting, right?

If you've completed any interesting projects, yourself, we'd love to see them! Post 'em if you got 'em.

    Again, welcome.

    Ken

Well thanks for the welcome Ken & I have lots of projects that I have done over my 72 years of life but very little documentation of them
My projects are usually out of necessity like the new shop I am trying to Finnish getting setup right now, bought a new PM14x40 lathe, an Enco gear head mill, Logan 8" shaper, Miller 250 Sayncrowave, & on & on.
    Again thanks for the welcome.

    Hey Bill,

Sounds like you've put together a great set of tools for the new shop. Post a pic or two when it's all set up.

    Glad to have you aboard.
