Smile New Home Owner in the woods

Howdy! Just looking for ideas to make life a little simpler. Built a new house on a ledge and especially looking for ways to get myself and lumber from one level to the other (50 foot drop). Other than that enjoy making things and fixing things.

    Hi eruss3,

Welcome - glad to have you here!

Sounds like a neat new house - let's see some pics. If you post a note in our Help Me Build subforum, you're likely to receive some useful tips on moving that lumber.

    Hi eruss3 - welcome to HomemadeTools.net

What about something like this shingle lift?

Thanks Ken. I have looked at a few approaches on this post and they have provided me with good ideas. I lean towards the aluminum ladder as an option since it will provide built in rails for a sled on wheels. Thanks again! From the house pic hopefully you get an idea of what lies below the house level.
