    Jerrdan john's Tools

New to forum, but old to world!!

I have a hobby machine shop that includes:
    1914 Leblond 14: lathe
    1917 Hendey 12" Lathe
    1870 Bement & son 20" x 168" lathe
1913 Superior 24" camelback drill press
    1953 Delta 17" drill press
    1936 Gorton 9j vertical mill
1903 Brown and Sharp #3 horizontal mill
    1950's Linsey jig bore
    25 ton 6' brake press
    30" upright band saw
    power hack saw
    and many more small machines.
I enjoy building just about anything imaginable. I have built a few engines using air compressors. All of my machines are wired and ready to run, none are collecting dust in storage. Part of my hobby is making them run. I hope to post a few builds. Thanks Jonathan

Hi Jonathan - welcome to HomemadeTools.net

Sounds like you are very well-equipped! Any tools younger than 60 years old?

So, what's next up on your project list?

    Working on 4 projects now.
    A 4x4 wrecker
    A rollback
A bench using horse drawn buggy springs.
    A Holmes hydraulic retrofit wrecker.
My projects are usually bigger then ost would want to attack. I just started recently making videos and I have a very cheap camera, so they are not great. If you have time take a look at the projects.
I almost forgot my bike project, it's powered by a quincy A4 air compressor mad into a 4 stroke engine. Almost forgot mu quincy A4 that I am making into a hit and miss. I finish my stuff it just takes a while.
    Board track racer bike

    4x4 Wrecker build

    Hydraulic motorcycle trailer (completed)

    Wrecker build (completed)

Board track engine (air compressor running)

    Thanks Jonathan

Hi Jonathan, that's quite a collection of vintage (and well-made!) machinery you've got. Welcome to the forums!
