    Hi Bill,

    Welcome!

Preparing for retirement must be exciting - have you started counting the days yet?

What's the first project you're planning to undertake?

    Thanks for the Welcome Ken!
I don't know about exciting (retirement), more scary than anything. Worked all my life so not working will take some getting use to!
I've have many projects over the years mostly in converting my old RF45 mill to cnc followed up by a cnc router. The most recent project which I've worked on for the past year (seems forever) is a geared power drawbar for my Novakon torus pro. I saw pictures of one over at the cnc forum and have spent many hours trying to duplicate it. Had to learn arduino programming and after many years of not programming, it was a chore. Heck, when I went to school, we were taught basic, cobol and fortran. Been a heck of a leaning experience but about to get it done!
    Thanks for the welcome!.

Wow, you sound like you have a wide skillset:

Post some pics of the power drawbar project if you have them.

    BTW, welcome to HomemadeTools.net
