Liquid Metal Boiling Heat Transfer Facility at NASA's Lewis Research Center (now Glenn Research Center). c. 1963. Original caption "PARTIAL COMPLETION OF LIQUID METAL BOILING HEAT TRANSFER FACILITY".
The facility was built for "the basic study of high-temperature liquid metal heat transfer. It is composed of two practically identical loops; one loop transfers heat to the other within a counterflow, tube-within-a-tube heat exchanger."
