Those look like 10KV resisters. 5ppm power resisters to me.
But the video looks to be deceivingly shot out of sequence, The part where the flame is heating while the pincer spins the wire while a nichrome wire is wound around creating the red hot blob would be the first part the second stage is where you see the yellow sleeve on the wire with the blob being dropped down then the blob is pulled into the sleeve the first of the video should be the last of it
Or at least that is the way I am looking at it I'm open of other theories

That is why I thought of reed switches...
But some other parts come up:
NTC Thermistors
Fuses (found fuses that were just glass tubes sealed
Capacitors (was surprised to learn about hermetically sealed tantalum capacitors in a glass tube)
Diodes (the good ol' 1N914 is a classic glass packaged diode from the early days)
High voltage resistors (Frank S mentioned this one)
