Hi All
If like me you don’t like blocking up stock in a milling machine this technique could be for you. As by know anyone who has read my posts will realise I am quite a lazy engineer and like fast simple ways to reach the end goal. This technique doesn’t require an engineer’s square to check the work piece is upright within the vice there is no time wasted clocking along edges and tapping until square, just simply place in the vice and machine. (there is a method to follow though) I use this always to block up as it is very quick, simple and accurate which enables you to get on with the more interesting bits of the machining.
Thank you for watching and hope it is of interest
