My CNC software collection has grown to the point where I needed to step back and ponder what was there. It was not just a collection of programs but rather a “software architecture”. The programs must work together to convert a 3D rendered object into physical motion of my CNC mill. Along the way I have written a few isolated articles explaining some of the interfaces. By addressing the entire architecture I have found a place to tie these small articles together into a larger story.
