My automatically retractible interior threading tool

Here is my last creation on a Tripan 111 basis, an interior threading tool with manual or pneumatic retraction of the tool, the command of the pneumatic device is simply made with a bistable ditributor commanded with a pneumatic mini Festo detector.

And you can see all pictures of the system here : porte-outil de filetage intérieur à dégagement automatisé | lecollectionneur.ch | Pierre_G.

This is the final version after a lot of different models which have always something not perfect for my use, here is the still improvable version but yet it makes the job as I need and want !

Well thought out and executed. I should take a refresher course in pneumatics. Totally forgot the programming part.

It's very easy to use, you need just a bistable disributor, a pneumatic command on the lathe when you're at the end of the threading and a push button for the return of the tool in usable position, but you can make that mecanically as I've made my exterior automatic threading tool.
