MT WOOD LATHE TOOL AND ACCESSORY CABINET

This is my Wood Lathe Tool cabinet. It hangs on the wall right above my wood lathe and keeps my turning tools, faceplates, chucks, measuring tools and misc other accessories right where I need them. I can use a chisel and put it back in it's designated slot when I want to use a different one. That eliminates them dropping on the floor which happens when you lay them on a board across the ways. It's also easy to reach for calipers etc. The doors keep unauthorized hands off them

    Hey there DUKESALLEY!
What a great organization of your tools!!!
Your thumbnails didn't show up in your post. Can you send me your pics and plans if you have them, I really need to build this for my lathe! I would really appreciate them! In return I will name my next child after you! 😁

Hi Tinnocker, thank you for the compliment. Sorry I don't have any plans, I tend to build stuff based on materials I have on hand and specific needs. It's basically a box with 2 doors and shelves and hooks to accommodate my tools. I will offer this tip, build it bigger than what you think you need, we have a tendency to accumulate more tools and accessories as time goes by, might as well prep for them. Regards, Duke
