The thing about Norton Motorcycles is, once you've owned or ridden one you will either always want one, or you will hate them.
If I ever run across another 850 Commando preferably a basket case I will do what it takes to figure out how to make it follow me home

Model is in my handle. The 850 Interstate I liked and the 750 Fastback only bitch was those rubber bushes in the swingarm. My Dommi is 600 cc and and corners like it is on rails. Not a good town bike though mainly due to the cork clutch. My Yamaha XS 1100 was better for a trip to the shops.

Same with Duke owners. ! think the 1973 Triumph Bonniville is drop dead gorgeous but I don't like Triumphs, I don't like Hondas either. Don't get me started on Hardly Makeitsons!
Each to their own - What else to discuss over scones and tea at a rest stop?
