Looking at it frame by frame and hearing it regular speed the Datsun and the bike were racing and the poor van driver never had a chance at judging the closing rate.

I love how the forest swallowed the car.

Definitely a race between the white car and cycle. Looking at this a lucky is extremely short-sided. Had they not been racing there would be no video and no discussion. Not sure the driver of the white car survived judging by how violently one of the trees to the left of where he enters shook. There was definitely a sudden stop in there. If so, the van driver now has to live with that for the rest of his life. Completely avoidable and pointless.

Brown trouser moment for the rider of the bike. I think it was all over before he had time to think what to do next.

It appears that the traffic signal is red for the bike and car. The driver of the van possibly had a green arrow to turn left and didn’t realize the car and bike were traveling at that rate of speed.
Someone with a better computer may be able to enhance the picture and say for sure on the light.
The van drivers timing saved his life. A split second faster and the bike would have went through the passengers side door and came out on the drivers door along with the van driver.
Some lucky dogs that day for sure.
