I am reminded of all of the excellent recent lumber memes. Judging from the comments on HomeDepot.com, it looks like the lumber is also shrinkflating, and beyond just their low quality "whitewood" hamburger-lumber. People are complaining that some of the more expensive 4x8 plywood sheets seem to have lost a little thickness.

And no one has added petrol, i'm shocked.
There is a great meme going around of a guy pulling into a gas station and paying $10 for a sniff of the filler nozzle.

It gets worse, this guy cant even fill his Tesla

Funny you should mention it Frank. Our postman has a cut right down his cheek, i asked him what he had done and his reply was :-
its much better, three weeks ago it was a lot worse. turns out his nephew was sat on a tractor "Helping" sat on his mobile phone texting away and accidentally hit a button which lowered the implement his uncle was working on attached to the back of the tractor. One of those hay turning things - A tyne sliced him right down the face. I blame the parents, when are they going to take control of their ferrell kids and actually teach them something. Id have scored a try for England, his rear end would be unable to touch surfaces for some considerable amount of time.
