I have one of these. It was left by the previous home owners. You need to make sure the 'bed of nails' are all straight when you set it. It works well if you find an active tunnel they are working. I always find that I use a spade shove when removing a set trap, as I've caught a few by just their foot, and they would have gotten away, if I just pulled it out of the ground, also I like seeing the animal, to ensure I got it. I'm amazed at how soft and fine their fur is. It would take many to make a coat.
