Thanks Frank S! We've added your Mobile Scaffold Platform to our Miscellaneous category,
as well as to your builder page: Frank S's Homemade Tools. Your receipt:
New plans added on 11/22: Click here for 2,593 plans for homemade tools.
Those appear to be 2x6 joists. I'm guessing your using 16', and it looks like your splicing them by pairing with another one in the middle of each splice.
Are you using the nailer to attach the plywood to these joists? I've always used construction screws to assemble scaffolding.
This photo was my house addition, where I tore the roof off and put a second floor on.
the stringers are just 2x4 on edge doubled by nailing there are 5 of them under the 3/4" plywood the Brick scaffold I have set up on the bus is only 7' 2" c/c of each frame set the connecting pins are bolted to the bottom and the top frame sets not just slip fitted once the platform is completed and I lift it to the top then it will be secured to the frame sets mostly because our winds could turn it into a sail if it was free to move. I have jumped up and down on the platform while it is laying on the stands there is little to no give so it is plenty strong. I have some 2 x8 planks but not enough to make a full platform.
Screws would have been nice to attach the plywood to the stringer but I only had either some 1 inch or some 3 1/2" 1 inch would have been too short and the 3 1/2 inch would have been ridiculous to use. The nails are also 3 1/2" and are going to be hard to remove when it is time to reclaim the lumber and plywood but I was out of 2" for my smaller nailer
Never try to tell me it can't be done

Went and picked up the remaining 2 required sheets of 3/4 ply today for my platform then used the boom extension and the spreader bar with the spreader bar extension to raise the platform to the top of the mobile scaffold
From my homemade fork carriage mounted on the loader of the back hoe to the mobile scaffold I could not do without my home made tools.
4 home made tools on the backhoe alone involved in the lifting
3 home made tools used to support the platform while building it
the mobile scaffold itself and the platform
I am still thinking about what I am going to come up with the fly the purlins and sheet metal with. I have a roofing winch that I don't know if it works on not but it may be an option to construct a pulley system and winch some things up with or modify something for the boom extension to fly them up there with

The balance of my roof purlin is on the ground
I drug out my roofing hoist and got it working I had no idea if it worked or not and I really have no idea where I got it from there is a pawn shop price tag of $595.00 on it but I know that I didn't buy it from a pawn shop. It was probably in a large lot that I bought at auction for next to nothing.
Now that I know it works I will build a crane boom to mount on the front of the back hoe so I can still use the forks then I will be able to fly things to the top
Never try to tell me it can't be done
