    Mobile anvil stand in maple

This has stood up to hammering for a few years now, although the floor is starting to crack. It incorporates a scissor jack to lower a platform to which 4 metal casters are screwed.
The construction is quite simple, although there are some through dovetails, but in the main it is simply screwed together.Mobile anvil stand in maple-image.jpgMobile anvil stand in maple-image.jpgMobile anvil stand in maple-image.jpgClick image for larger version.

Very nice and nice assortment of anvils etc. wish I could see some of the details of the scissor jack castors you mention. Sounds very intreaguing as a way to make something as heavy as that moveable, but totally stable when it set. I have a couple if scissor jacks that need repurposing
