Beautiful workmanship. So is this from a kit or bar stock? At first I thought PM Research but then you mentioned the length.

The lathe was not built from a kit, it is made from solid bar stock materials, it was drawn up in cad but a lot of changes in the design were made while machining and fitting the parts.

Did you make this because you wanted a small lathe to use or as a great example of model making?

It is an actual working model, it has power longitude feed but none on the cross, I built it just for a challenge Toni, I have been working on cad designing a knee mill as a sister to the lathe, will be working on that pretty soon
