I like the idea of the chain, used presumably as a guide to help locate the post vertically.
Neat. I really would have liked something like this when I was a youngster. My father had us manually rebuild a fence line and made sure we did it manually. An axe and chain saw to clear the thorn Apple and a lot of blood.
