    Holy crap. That's an amazing build.

    Are those recirculating ball linear bearings any good? I've used them a number of times on projects, but for this application I'm not sure I'd trust them.

    I've seen them used on some fairly large CNC routers. Seem to be okay but if the ball screw sticks or something the effected axis tends to shudder quite violently (probably not normal). I believe Haas use a beefier setup on their machines:

    The kind use on the CNC router (1.4m X 2m bed, weights in at a ton or two) are these 'Linear Pillow Block Bearings - Open 20mm'
