    Metaler's Tools

    Metalworker from the UK

I am long time retired, 25 years. (as I write this in 2016)

In work I was a control systems engineer, electrical, mostly in the multi motor, very high power, variable speed drives, mostly for the printing and paper industries.

I am a multi hobby person, the main ones being, in order of preference, Cabinet makeing, Live sound recording(as engineer), Photography and Metalwork.

Metalwork though takes the most time as the others are somewhat impractical. House full of furniture, Somewhat deaf and photography is not sufficiently time consuming.

My metalworking involves, in order of most first. Workshop tooling, Small Stationary Steam Engines and Clocks. My website, mostly metalworking also involves a lot of time producing it.

My interest in metalworking started in my teens and a new Myford ML7 purchased. However, other things soon took priority and metalworking only became possible in my mid 50s

Hello Metaler, and welcome to HomemadeTools.net

Sounds like you have plenty of hobbies for which to make homemade tools. What's your website? I'd like to check it out.

Thanks Jon for the welcome and interest in my website!

The home page of my website is at http://www.homews.co.uk/

Having given the site a "once over" starting at the home page, the best place to search the site for metalworking content is at the metalworking index. This is at Harold Hall's website index. A to C
