A 1hp belt sander made from a surplus motor and scrap steel (1/4" plate and 3" x 3/8" angle).
Here is the 3D model and the "mule" build sander that I gave to a friend for turning the wheels (I am looking for a lathe at the present time.) I will post photos of the one I kept and the stand for it.
