A million bucks worth of scaffold a couple dozen guy wires 130+ feet tall and twice that long. usually you don't build a scaffold until there is something you need it for like the side of as building or around the Statue of Liberty, and I don't see a single walk plank anywhere.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

I don't know about that, it all depends on how you go about buying it. A friend of mine started his scaffold rental business 30 years ago with 5 railroad freight carloads of RR freight salvage that was government rejected because of the type of safety latching system it had. I think he said he paid less than $300.00 per carload.

He definitely lucked out there. That's one of those times when you can't afford not to buy it. I was looking at this from a subcontracting point of view. How much would you have to spend to have that assembled structure on the video. I've contracted out some scaffold jobs before that were teensy tiny in comparison and they were North of $500k. We rebuilt two of the machines in the picture below, they took 4 months each, and there was quite a bit of scaffold. Lots of builds and teardowns (like any other job) but it was about half a million. But that's microscopic in comparison to the above video.
