    looks like an explosion from the utility caused a pressure wave upwards which then dislodged the roofing material (slats to form the "ceiling" of the petrol station awning). The blast appears to originate from the vehicle, and the blown out panels on the LHS and vehicle roof seem to imply the forces originated from inside the vehicle, rather than from above it.
    If I had to guess on cause, I'd lean towards petrol vapours from a faulty container (what's in the back of the ute?) or tank, getting to explosive range, and then ignition from static, or and electrical source.

    What's he doing with his right leg at the 3 second mark immediately before the explosion? Creating a static charge?

    Looked like he stepped over the gas hose

    Sure enough, the trouble seems to have started under the truck. Look closely under the truck between frame 1 and 2. In Frame 2 you can just barely see the beginning of the conflagration that created the chaos.
