    I was more worried about that hammer he's swinging near the entire time.. unless it's a mallet, it would still do damage if he clipped that.

    I think he did it on purpose, why else would he be holding the phone between his knee and the swinging arm?

    Looks like phone was in left pocket of that coat, pushed out by leaning over and swinging hatchet.
    Cutting that short is real poor planning, or real small fire pit.

    Sure, I use a smart phone, but it's not the leash some people have.
    Can't even start comprehension being so tied to a device.

    If someone is nearby and using their camera or web browser, I'll wisecrack "Hey, that thing even makes phone calls!"
    Always worth a chuckle.
