I really upset a guy in Malan Italy once. When he asked me how my sandwich was. I told him, if it looks like bologna, smells like bologna, and tastes like bologna, it must be bologna, bologna by any other name is still bologna to me. The only difference was the meat he had was smoke cured in applewood which did enhance the flavor.

Mortadella was banned in the USA for a long time. When it became available, I tried some. I found out I hadn't missed anything.
