Making a Fixture Plate and Boring Bar for the Cement Mixer Restoration. The Fixture Plate is a dual purpose. Size is 28" x 20" x 1" A36 steel plate. I have made it to fit on my milling machine for large and difficult part mounting. The main purpose for the Fixture Plate is to be used a welding table. I have patterened the holes in the fixture plate following the 2" x 2" with 5/8" holes. I have also made the 5/8" dia portion of the hole 5/8" deep then the bottom fo the hole is drilled and tapped for 1/2"-13 thread. The threaded portion is for using the standard milling machine table strap clamp system which use 1/2"-13 studs.
