Making embossed business cards for my portrait studio

In my portrait studio I use embossed business cards that I print and emboss.

They have no embossing showing on the back so they are 'extra cool'.
    :-)

    Here's how I do it!

    I like your registration setup.

I’m familiar with duplex and even triplex business cards but I’ve never watched someone mounting each individually.

A contrasting color paper is often used for a nice looking edge effect.

    Village,

    Contrasting colors!
Esp. triplex with the contrast in the core of the stack.

Trickery, trickery, trickery - I like it!

Are they usually cut after lamination?
    Duh!

    Makes more sense!

I do have a paper stack trimmer, but it doesn't have a good adjustable backstop, though I could 'easily' add one by....

Yeah, the contrasting colors can look pretty chic.

I’ve usually seen things like this done as a run so the dies are often made about as large as the budget and press will allow so the cards can be printed and embossed as many at a time and then trimmed after lamination.

But I like your get 'er done method.

Beautiful heavy business card that will stand out in the crowd. It might just be a few more steps for me however.
